About Julie Bill

An accomplished information architecture and metadata librarian, Julie Bill holds a bachelor of fine arts with a concentration in 20th century art from the University of South Florida and a master of science in library and information studies with a concentration in information architecture from Florida State University. After earning her graduate degree with honors, Julie Bill found employment as a librarian and, ultimately, a supervisor at the East County Regional Library in Fort Myers, Florida.

Ms. Bill went on to spend several months as a reference instruction librarian with the LAC Group in Greater Los Angeles, California, before embarking on a 7-year tenure at Los Angeles’ Musicians Institute. She served this educational organization for musicians and creative professionals for 2 years as a librarian before directing its library services for 5 years. Since parting ways with the Musicians Institute in October of 2019, Julie Bill has spearheaded metadata services for the multimedia conglomerate Fox Corporation.
